Our Story
We’re a military veteran- and military-spouse-owned digital marketing agency based in Augusta, Georgia. After 10+ moves, and 29,000+ miles logged in service to our country, we know what it means to build something solid that can move, adapt, and still deliver results under pressure.
How It Started
We met at college in the Midwest over two decades ago. Years later, our partnership has weathered PCS moves and the beautiful chaos of raising kids. The products of hard-working & entrepreneurial parents, today we run Defender Digital as a family-first business with a fully remote team that gives everyone the flexibility today’s families need while delivering first-in-class expertise to our clients all over the United States.
Why We Built This Company
We’ve lived the reality that military spouses often have to restart their careers with every new duty station. That’s why we prioritize hiring fellow veterans and military spouses. Our team works largely remote, so spouses can keep building their careers and expertise no matter where the military sends their spouses. Local team members grab coffee or meet up occasionally, but the focus is always on flexibility, trust, and getting great work done without unnecessary friction.
And we do this all while providing white glove service to our clients. No interruptions. No hiccups. Just decades of experience with data-backed results.
Before launching Defender Digital, we owned and scaled a digital agency to seven-figure revenue and successfully exited in 2022.
Between us, we bring more than 25 years of custom development and technical systems expertise plus nearly 50 years of sharp sales and marketing leadership across our team. That blend of disciplined execution and real-world strategy is what powers the marketing plans we build for our clients today.

Lacy Seeger
Lacy is the driving force behind Defender Digital’s day-to-day leadership and client experience. A proud military spouse, Army mom and the daughter of entrepreneurs, she has nearly 20 years of end-to-end sales and marketing expertise and knows firsthand the challenges of building and growing a business.
Her background includes scaling coaching, consulting and speaking companies, crafting nationally-award-winning strategies, and delivering campaigns that move the needle. When she’s not building visibility architectures or optimizing client systems, you’ll find her cheering fanatically at St. Louis Cardinals games, coaching the kids’ sports teams, or planning the next family road trip. Lacy’s passion for creating flexible, high-performing teams comes directly from her own journey — and she’s committed to making sure other military spouses and veterans never have to choose between career growth and family stability.
What Drives Us
At Defender Digital, we don’t just talk about values — we act on them. We donate 2% of every month’s revenue to charities that support military families and local communities in Augusta and beyond. It’s our way of giving back to the people and places that have shaped us.
